Gurudongmar lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. The view of the lake and its surrounding is breathtaking situated at a height of 17100 ft above sea level. The view of the Lake and its surrounding landscape and the tranquil atmosphere brings immense peace to the mind. But with the height comes the danger of thin oxygen, so be well prepared while visiting the lake after all you won't regret visiting the place. The village is located near the scenic village of Lachen and most of the tourists hold their night stay at Lachen for their morning visit to the Lake.
Goech La Trek is the most visited trek route in the entire Sikkim. Every year, an enormous number of trekkers from around the World visit Goecha La. This trek route is a treasure of charismatic Himalayan beauty indeed. The Tsoka, the Dzongri, the Thansing .Every place is magnificently unique with their own natural beauties.
This is one of the most splendid treks in Sikkim. Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary is home to hundreds of exotic Rhododendron flower species. The best time for this trek is March to May. The astonishing beauty of various splendid Rhododendrons makes every trekker of this route amazed.
